The location was great for us. The apartment was very nice and clean and spacious with two bathrooms two rooms and a small kitchen. The hosts are very friendly. Sometimes communication was a little challenging but they were always willing to help. Their restaurant and grocery advice was helpful. The view was amazing.


Breakfast at our private deck overlooking the bay was an experience every day. Easy access to the water taxi to Dubrovnic in Plat made getting there easy. Park at the plat resort on the road and walk to the beachfront. The water taxi costs 100 kuna roundtrip and gets you straight into the city avoiding parking in Dubrovnik.


Parking could cost you 70 Kuna an hour close in. An Uber back from Dubrovnik cost us 136 kuna. The beaches of Plat and dinner at Cavtat or Plat are easy drives. Grocery stores are very close and the owners can direct you there. King restaurant in Plat is a great location for grilled meat! It is very easy to have an excellent meal everywhere. The pool is very nice with lots of seating and very quiet.


Again the view there is magnificent! The foot path to the waterfront is an easy hike down and up on paved steps. There is only a small concrete landing area and large rocks bayfront sea access area. It is great for swimming and snorkeling and large enough for family sunbathing. Dubrovnic is beautiful but is getting overrun with tourist. Be prepared for this and enjoy the sites. We enjoyed our private boat tour around the islands, swimming and snorkeling in caves. Overall we had a great time and would recommend a stay for families.
