Primosten is a small port city located 30 km southeast of Sibenik. In the 16th century a bridge was built to connect the settlement on the island with the mainland. The name "Primosten" means "bridge." Surrounded by seven little islands, Primosten is a
special gift from nature that leaves no one indifferent.
Primosten ranks among the most picturesque towns on the Adriatic, with many narrow streets, typical old Mediterranean city center. The old town is lined with cafes, bars and restaurants, whose cuisine will satisfy the most demanding tastes.
