The small Central Dalmatian town of Omis area has its own seaport and is located between town Split and Makarska, about 26 km. south-east of Split. The city lies at the mouth of river Cetina into the sea, being guarded by the keys of the river Cetina.
City of great beauty is situated on the river Cetina and has 15,800 inhabitants. Here, crystal clear water of the river flows into the sea formed river sand brought from the resort beach near Omis. From the north, the resort is protected by mountains and lies
in the south sea.
