Kraljevica is a town in the Kvarner region, located between Rijeka and Crikvenica, about 30 km from Opatija and near the bridge from the island of Krk.

It is the oldest shipyard in the Adriatic Sea. Kraljevica is dominated by two medieval castles and a church built by the nobles and Croats Zrinski Frankopan. Since the nineteenth century, Kraljevica became a famous tourist destination with luxury villas and famous beaches.

One of the biggest events taking place in Kraljevica Frankopan is called Summer, and is a cultural event which takes place at Castle Frankopan.
