Savudrija is a city located in the northwest peninsula of Istria, 8 km north of Umag and only 60 km south of Trieste.
Savudrija, an old fishing village, today a small and stylish resort is actually a gateway to the seaside area of Umag. Pension Favreto and Alla Posta inns existed Paludetti time and Austrian domination. Later spa treatment building in 1908, Grazer Kinderspital Anna was also an important step in tourism development in the area. In 1925, the guesthouse was built Gamboc (Gamboc by Ivan and his son Karlo) - today called Moj Mir (My Peace).
Besides the natural advantages (easily accessible area, clear water, pleasant temperatures during the summer), tourist attraction and is due to history and culture of the city and its surroundings. Tourists can choose between different types of accommodation: hotels, bungalows, apartments, campsites. The area is lively summer terraces and discotheques and restaurants offer is more than generous.
